Fun in the Snow!
Family is the greatest gift we can have! To have a safe place to be fully known and fully loved was the plan of a loving God. This painting shows a family spending time together in a winter wonderland. They are unhurried, taking time to let the children build a snowman, and run and play in the snow with their dog.
The old red truck is rusted and often needing repair. Family is like that too. We often have issues, but it does not have to be perfect to bring joy.
This world gets so busy! We must stop occasionally and give our full attention to our children. Show them that they are valued and find something good to say about them. Teach them to do what is good as the Word says, “And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up.” Deuteronomy 6:6-7
