Mountain Escape (Father’s Day)

Feel the wild free spirit of the untamed wilderness. The pristine beauty of an alpine lake. I painted this scene to look like the Colorado Rocky Mountains. It is entitled “Mountain Escape”. My son enjoys taking his kayak out on the lake behind Grandma and Grandpa’s house. There is a peaceful stillness as you glide through the water. A time to sift through thoughts, take joy in simple pleasures, and count your blessings.
