Narrow Road
The Story Behind The Painting

Narrow Road

This painting, entitled “Narrow Road”, was painted to remind us to take the narrow path “for narrow is the road that leads to life”. This is our 1972 restored Ford Bronco on the Holy Cross trail near Vail, Colorado. This tough spot is called the “French Creek” obstacle. The boulder’s here are huge! You must be very careful to pick the right line or you can easily tip over in the river. When attempting to go up this obstacle, many helpful men jump out to show the correct path since all the driver can see is sky! Wouldn’t it be nice to have a guide helping us pick the correct line for our lives! Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths.”
